Our Cosmetic Dentistry Treatments

Porcelain Veneers

Our custom-made porcelain veneers are placed on the front of your teeth to hide imperfections, improve the shape of your smile, and make slight orthodontic adjustments. Dr. Jason McGibony or one of his associates will reshape your teeth to accommodate the restoration. Then your dentist will use our iTero® digital scanner or CEREC® Omnicam to take digital impressions of your teeth. This process is quick and convenient, with no need for messy pastes or powders. Your custom veneers will then be fabricated and expertly placed for a natural appearance. We also offer thinner LUMINEERS®, which require little to no enamel removal.

Teeth Whitening

We provide a wide selection of teeth whitening options to brighten your smile. At your consultation, your cosmetic dentist will help you choose the right treatment for your needs. Philips Zoom!® in-office teeth whitening takes about an hour and can lighten your smile by up to eight shades. Philips NiteWhite® offers similar results at home, but typically takes about 10 to 12 days. With Sinsational Smile®, you can also combine in-office and at-home methods. Finally, we provide Sheer White!™ whitening strips, which are extremely convenient and easy to use.

Dental Bonding

Dental bonding is a versatile and cost-effective treatment that can achieve many of the same results as porcelain veneers. Dr. McGibony or one of his team members will use composite resin to cover up minor imperfections and reshape your teeth. This material comes in many shades, so your dentist can choose one that is a near-perfect match to your smile. Although bonding can be a great cosmetic solution, it is important to remember the results do not typically last as long as veneers or porcelain crowns.

Gum Contouring

Do you feel that your smile looks disproportionately small? The problem may be that you have excess gum tissue covering the visible portion of your teeth. During a gum lift or gum contouring procedure, your dentist will use an advanced diode laser to remove excess tissue and enhance your smile. Our practitioners will always work conservatively, and they will carefully plan out your treatment to achieve stellar results. The advanced diode laser will seal your gum tissue during treatment, so you will experience very little sensitivity.

Smile Makeover

If you would like to completely revitalize your appearance, consider a smile makeover. During this comprehensive plan, a number of different treatment options can be combined to rejuvenate your smile, including Invisalign®, veneers, and teeth whitening. If needed, your dentist can also perform gum contouring. Our dentists will develop a treatment plan that is especially suited to your unique goals. In many cases, we will perform makeovers in stages, treating your most pressing concerns first.

Clear, custom-made Invisalign® trays can straighten slightly crooked teeth and correct more advanced bite misalignment. We are the only practice in the area using the iTero® digital impression system to create our aligner trays. Thanks to this precise technology, our trays are very comfortable and can yield dramatic results. Dr. McGibony is a certified preferred Invisalign® provider. He loves seeing the positive effects the treatment can have on your appearance, oral health, and self-confidence.

Snap-On Smile®

Snap-On Smile® is a cosmetic, removable arch that fits directly over your teeth to reshape your smile and cover cosmetic imperfections. This device is not intended to be a permanent solution. However, it can be a great way to enhance your smile as you save up for more comprehensive cosmetic treatment. The Snap-On Smile® will also allow you to see what your teeth will look like after your cosmetic procedures are complete. In this way, you can make adjustments to your treatment plan and feel completely confident about your decision.

White Spot Removal

Over time, oral bacteria and acid will start to erode your dental enamel, and this decalcification process may leave white spots on your teeth. Fortunately, we can treat those spots with a simple resin infiltration system. Your cosmetic dentist will apply a gel to the treatment area, which will open up the pores. Then he or she will cover the area in a resin similar to the product used for a tooth-colored filling. The resin will infiltrate the open pores, helping reduce or eliminate staining. Finally, your dentist will clean and polish your teeth for a natural sheen.
